Built for the accountant, not the app-store.
SocietyBee is built by Yogesh Randive, Founder of Simplifyne Technology Private Limited, Pune. 15 years building fintech, lending, e-commerce and crypto platforms — and watching society treasurers manage crores of rupees in Excel.
I kept watching society treasurers use Excel for something that needed a proper double-entry system. And I watched CAs manage 12 societies in 12 different portals, re-logging in every time a committee member called. I built SocietyBee so the accountant who actually does the work has a tool that respects that work.
Why the existing tools fail CAs.
Built for RWA engagement, not accounting
Most society apps — MyGate, ApnaComplex — were built for gate management, visitor apps, and resident classifieds. The accounting module is an afterthought. CAs don't need a security ERP.
No multi-society workflow
Every competing SaaS assumes one society, one login. CAs managing 5–30 societies have no proper tool. They cobble together Excel, WhatsApp and separate portals.
Per-payment commission drains society funds
1.5–2% on every transaction. A society collecting ₹10L/year loses ₹15,000–₹20,000 in gateway fees annually. That's money meant for repairs, sinking fund, and common area maintenance.
The company.
“What we don't do: gate passes, visitor management, classifieds, food delivery. We do one thing — your society's money — properly.”
