What BeeAgent Knows About Your Society
BeeAgent has access to all the data in your SocietyBee account: the member list (all flats, members, contact details), the complete billing history (every bill raised for every flat), the receipts register (every payment received), the current outstanding dues for each member, and the full double-entry ledger.
Beyond your society's data, BeeAgent is trained on Maharashtra Co-operative Bye-Law requirements, the sinking fund rules, the AGM notice requirements, the Transfer Fee limits, the defaulter interest provisions. Ask it 'what is the maximum transfer fee I can charge?' and it will give you the bye-law provision with the current limit.
BeeAgent also understands GST applicability for housing societies, the ₹7,500 threshold rule, the ₹20 lakh turnover threshold, ITC eligibility and filing requirements.

SocietyBee's BeeAgent uses a per-request query model: each query is processed against your society's data in isolation and the results are not stored for model training. Society A's BeeAgent cannot access Society B's data, even if both are managed by the same CA account.
Your society's financial data is stored on Supabase (AWS Mumbai region) with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. BeeAgent queries are not logged for any purpose beyond the current session and are not used to train or fine-tune the underlying language model.
This is a deliberate architectural choice. Housing society data includes member names, flat numbers, outstanding dues and payment histories, information that is sensitive and should never leave the society's data boundary.
BeeAgent Roadmap: What's Coming
Voice input in Marathi and Hindi is the most-requested feature from early-access customers. A treasurer in Pune who speaks Marathi as a first language should be able to ask 'थकबाकीदार कोण आहे?' and get the defaulter list. This is on the roadmap for Q4 2026.
Auto bank statement reconciliation is planned for Q3 2026. BeeAgent will match uploaded bank statements against recorded receipts, flag unmatched transactions and suggest entries for approval, reducing the monthly bank reconciliation from hours to minutes.
WhatsApp anomaly alerts are also in development: BeeAgent will proactively message the CA or treasurer when it detects unusual patterns, a large unexplained payment, a member whose dues have suddenly spiked, or a bank balance that doesn't match the books.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is BeeAgent available in all SocietyBee plans?
BeeAgent is included in all plans. The Free Plan includes 10 BeeAgent queries per month. The Pro and CA Plans include unlimited BeeAgent queries.
Does my society data get used to train BeeAgent's AI?
No. Your society's data is never used to train or fine-tune any AI model. Queries are processed per-request and discarded. Per-society data isolation means only your society's data is visible to your BeeAgent instance.
What languages does BeeAgent currently support?
BeeAgent currently supports English and understands basic Marathi and Hindi queries. Full Marathi and Hindi support with voice input is on the roadmap for Q3–Q4 2026.
Can BeeAgent make changes to the accounts or only read data?
Currently, BeeAgent is read-only, it can answer questions and generate reports but cannot modify entries. Workflow automation (auto-approving receipts that match bank statements) is on the roadmap but requires explicit approval from the CA or treasurer for each action.
